It’s a wet, cold moody day here in our part of the Southern Hemisphere.  Winter is most definitely coming.  And that’s not a bad thing – it means I can wear more of my hand knits!

Which leads me to my three positive things for today:

  1. I got to wear my Don’t be a D*ck gloves a lot today (pic below) – I haven’t really had a chance to wear them since I finished them last month, so that made me smile!
  2. Puppy cuddles!
  3. Have made an overnight trip to mum’s and dad’s over in the Wairarapa.  The weather is equally bad over here, but it’s meant good company and plenty to do all day!

For those who are curious… these are my gloves:

  1. I love the gloves! And it’s so strange to think about the fact that’s winter somewhere, we’re finally getting our first days of spring/summer in Norway 😀

    • Thank you! I know what you mean about the seasons – it was hard to read about all the knitters overseas knitting all these wonderful things through their winter while we were in the middle of one of the hottest summers we’ve had in years!
